About AP Police :
The Andhra Pradesh State Level Police Recruitment Board came into existence with effect from 10 September, 1985. Its major function is to supervise the direct recruitment process of non gazetted posts in the Police Department and various ranks.

Eligibility Criteria For AP Police Recruitment 2016
Age Limit- For the posts of Stipendiary Cadet Trainee Police Constables. Candidate’s upper age limit should be 18-22 years as on 01-07-2016. For the posts of Warder, the candidate’s age limit should be 18-30 years as on 01-07-2016.
Educational Qualification- The candidate must pass Intermediate or its equivalent as on 01-07-2016 from State recognized Board/Institution. In case of SC/ST category , the candidate should pass SSC or its equivalent as on 01-07-2016 from State recognized Board/Institution. The candidate should fulfill the physical fitness criteria mentioned in the recruitment advertisement.
Selection process- The candidates will be selected on the basis of Preliminary Written Test followed by Physical Measurement Test(PMT),Physical Efficiency Test(PET) and final written examination.
