Jobs Details :-Applications are invited for filling up the following Group ‘A’ Medical Faculty posts of different Superspecialities posts (Readers & Senior Lecturers) and Readers & Senior Lecturers of various departments in Government Medical College & Hospital, Sector-32, Chandigarh on contract basis as on the closing date of receipt of applications. The breakup of vacancies, is as follows:

Super Specialities Readers : 05 posts in various disciplines, Pay : Rs.100200/-.
Reader/ Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation :01 post, Pay : Rs.100200/-.
Reader/ Microbiology : 01 post, Pay : Rs.100200/-.
Super Specialities Senior Lecturers : 04 posts in various disciplines, Pay : Rs.94900/-.
Senior Lecturers : 17 posts in various disciplines, Pay : Rs.94900/-.
1-Post Name : Super Specialities Readers
Qualifications :
A basic University or equivalent qualification included in any one of the Schedules to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956) and must be registered in a State Medical Register or Indian Medical Register.D.M. / M.Ch. or equivalent in the concerned specialty from a recognized Medical College / Teaching Institution.
Desirable : Minimum four Research Publications indexed in Index Medicus/National Journals.
No. Of Post : 05 Posts.
Age Limit : The upper age limit for the above said posts should not be exceeding 50 years.
Pay Scale : Rs.100200/- (Consolidated).
Application Fee :
The Application Fee in the shape of Bank Draft for a sum of Rs.500/- (Rupees Five Hundred Only) in the case of General Category and Other Backward Class candidates and Rs.250/- (Rupees Two Hundred Fifty Only) for the Scheduled Castes candidates, in favour of the Director Principal, Government Medical College & Hospital, Sector-32, Chandigarh, payable at Chandigarh must accompany the application for the post/each post. Application received without prescribed fee will be summarily rejected. Fee once remitted shall not be refunded.
